Apple just announced the new iPhone 3G S, the fastest iPhone ever.

The phone is available in 16GB and 32GB and in colors black and white. It will be available by June 19, 2009 with a price of $199 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB.

Upgrades include a faster HSDPA connection of up to 7.2Mbps, voice control, 3MP camera with video recording and a digital compass.

The Blackberry Storm was announced to be available in the Philippines about a week ago. Only postpaid plans are available for Smart and Globe, if you buy on from online stores or in gray markets like Greenhills, it could fetch up to Php48,000 a piece.

Globe will offer Balckberry plans for personal postpaid this May 2009 while Smart has announced it will offer the Storm in June.

Samsung officially announced this week the very first Android cellphones called Samsung i7500. The Samsung i7500 has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen runs on the latest Android OS version 1.5.

The i7500 is fully-featured in the connectivity department — Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G/HSDPA & HSUPA, Bluetooth. Plus, it has a 5MP autofocus camera. Storage is 8GB built-in with option to expand via microSD card. No word when it will arrive in the Philippines or how much the retail price is.
