New news is the announcement of Nokia on buying the rest of the 52% of Symbian it does not own. Looks like Nokia is on a roll and on a buying spree. Symbian will then be position as open source to compete with Google Android.

Nokia has finally released the Nokia E71 during the Nokia Connect 2008 in Singapore. Pictures and specs below:

Dimensions: 112mm x 57mm x 11mm with a 2.4 inch display screen.

The E71 also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, has HSDPA/3G, WiFi and GPS.
