How to activate GPRS on Globe Telecom?

Having problems setting up or activating your phone’s GPRS on Globe Telecom. Check out the tutorial tips below and see if it works for your phone.


For a complete listing of compatible MMS & GPRS phone handsets — send Nokia, Sony-Ericsson, Motorola, LG, Verzio, iPhone 3G or Samsung (your handset model) to 2365.

To get your phone’s settings, text GO (handset model) to 2951. Example, GO N3650. (For a list of compatible handsets, refer to #1)

Note: For Nokia 6220, 6600, and 6820, text GO ,1234 and send to 2951. Make sure to type in the two commas before the 1234 PIN. Regular text messaging charges will apply.

* Enter 1234 when asked for PIN to save settings.
* Send an MMS message for only Php 5.00 to activate the service.

Note: For prepaid subscribers, please make sure you have credits first before trying to access GPRS/MMS. You won’t be able to use the service if you have zero balance.

    i can’t browse using myglobe Connect.. globe sucks! they always had problems updating their settings for samsung.. majority of samsung users always had their problem on this.. how come they have updates on nokia and ericson, but not in samsung?..

    pano ung tamang pag configure ng OPERA MINI sa nokia 6600. kasi, nakailang beses ko na sya ayusin kaso nothing happens.

    If you are using Globe simcard (Philippines) you can try these steps: (I’m using e71 china)
    1. go to Menu – Services – Data account – GPRS
    2. edit or create an account
    account name: myGlobe CONNECT
    apn: http://www.globe.com.ph
    username: none (type this)
    password: **** (type this)
    auth type: normal
    3. save the account.
    4. go to Menu-Web-Settings-Edit profile-”Select sim where your globe sim card is inserted”-select profile-edit profile
    5. rename profile: myGlobe CONNECT
    homepage:http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
    data account: myGlobe CONNECT (the one made awhile ago)
    connection type: wap
    ip address: 203.177.042.214
    username: none(type this)
    password: ****(type this)
    save the profile
    6. activate the profile
    7. menu-web-settings-select sim (select the sim where your globe sim card is inserted)

    btw it also worked on a J230i sony ericsson cel.

    1. From Menu, choose Settings>Network Settings>Connections
    2. Press the left Soft Key and Create a New Connection by choosing NEW in the option.

    1. From Menu, choose Messages>Message Settings>Multimedia Settings> Multimedia message profiles
    2. Press the left Soft Key and Create a New Connection by choosing NEW in the option.
    3. Enter the following parameters in the field requirements

I will if that’s the only way, I’ll test new Odins to the B2 and do whatever support I can to help the B2 community advance the high quality of this cellphone.I’m searching forward to helping make the B2 the finest Android phone accessible.

    nag open po ako ng gprs sa globe
    gnaya ku lng po ung format
    pero ang reply po sa akin ay
    hindi raw po compatible ung setting sa aking unit na sony ericsson G502
    gusto ko lamang po na malaman kung bkit?
    at kung panu ung tmang pag open ng ang gprs.

    Guyyssss, if you are encountering problems on how to register your GPRS/MMS setting to globe.

    USE THIS ONE:

    GOTYPE OF PHONEUNIT OF PHONE,,1234 then send it to 2951.

    EX: GO NOKIA C3,,1234

    MAKE SURE TO PUT TWO COMMAS..

    IF you receive a message from Globe for your subscription.

    Enter a PIN: 1234.

    Then SAVE the setting!

    EASY!
