iPhone 3G Price Drop

Globe Telecom today announced it will reduce the price of iPhone 3G by P4000 with the purchase of an 8GB or 16GB iPhone 3G prepaid kit. The new pricing will make iPhone 3G even more affordable in the Philippines, with the 8GB version costing just P33,599 and the 16GB version at P39,799.

The iPhone in the Philippines are being sold for as low as Php25,000 for the 8GB model and Php29,000 for the 16GB Model. Since the iPhone does not connect with local telcos like Smart or Globe, it needs to be hacked first. Current prices for unlocking the iPhone in Virramall, Greenhills is between Php2,000 –
