Create Free iPhone Ringtones

1) Get any music or audio file in MP3 or WAV format.

2) Put and drag it inside your iTunes.

3) Select the music file in iTunes, right click and select Convert Selection to AAC.

4) Look for the new file in your iTunes Music folder.

5) Rename the file extension from *.mra to *.mr4

6) Drag the new file back to iTunes. It will now be recognized as a ringtone.

7) Synchronize your iPhone with your iTunes by going to the Ringtones tab and applying the synch feature.

The release of the iPhone 3G in the Philippines is nearing but there are still questions that remain un-answered.

  • When exactly will the iPhone 3G be released in the Philippines? Worldwide release is on July 11, 2008 but in the Philippines, Globe Telecom has an unofficial date of September 2008.
  • How much or what’s the price of the iPhone 3G when it reaches the Philippines? We’re sure it’s not going to be just $199. YugaTech says the prepaid plans for the iPhone 3G could be as high a Globe Plan Php3,500.
  • What’s the prepaid price of the iPhone 3G? Based on European prices of the unsubsidized iPhone 3G, it could be as high as Php34,000.

3G iPhone coming to the Philippines

The iPhone 3G will be available in the Philippines this July 2008, according to Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Globe Telecom will be the exclusive distributor of the new iPhone.

Specs include GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and EDGE capability. Comes in black and white colors as well as 8GB and 16GB models. Prices starts at $199 for the 8GB and $299 for the 16GB. Globe Telecom will be providing the iPhone 3G to all tis prepaid and postpaid subscribers in the Philippines.

Globe, Apple to offer iPhone in the Philippines

In a short announcement this afternoon, Globe Telecom reveals it will offer the iPhone in the Philippines this year. No details yet but this short cryptic press release:

Globe, SingTel, Bharti Airtel and Optus to bring iPhone to the region

Manila, 12 May 2008 – Globe, SingTel, Bharti Airtel and Optus today announced that they have signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Australia later this year.

More information will be released at a later date.
