RIM just posted a new BlackBerry 6 video. See the clip below:
In addition to the new fluid user interface, the new video illustrates a few of the new applications and features in BlackBerry 6 that will provide users with a mobile experience that is both fun and approachable, yet extremely powerful including:
redesigned home screen
context-sensitive pop-up menus
revamped BlackBerry Browser powered by WebKit
new applications like Social Feeds (which integrates all your news and social networks into one destination) and more
Rumors from Boy Genius Report indicated that RIM is developing a secret new Blackberry called the Thunder. Here are the specs to watch out for:
It is a full touchscreen BlackBerry — no slide out keyboard — with only 4 physical keys. Those are the send / end phone keys, the BlackBerry menu key, and the back key. Here is the most interesting part, though: it will launch as a worldwide lifetime exclusive on Verizon and Vodafone! We’ve heard the unit will be a hybrid device with CDMA EV-DO Rev. C (for clarification, Rev C., known as UMB is practically dead. If the device will indeed launch with a 4G solution, our bet is on LTE), and GSM HSPA for traveling internationally.
Unofficially it might be named the Blackberry 9500.
