Smart Bro Prepaid and Postpaid accounts are now upgraded its 3G/HSDPA network to 2Mbps.

There are 2 types of Smart Bro — the firts is the fixed wireless line where an antenna is installed at home and connected to the PC while the other is Smart Bro Prepaid which comes with a ZTE USB dongle.

Smart Bro Prepaid now costs Php2,500 with free Php100 load.

Smart Bro prepaid 3G Kit is still at Php3,800 which is actually down from Php4,500. However, Globe has already cut down its mobile 3g kit to just Php2,500.

This could prompt Smart Bro to follow suit.

A Smart Bro kit comes with Php100 of prepaid load you can use for 5 hours. Additional hours will cost Php10 per block of 30 minutes.

Smart just put out an ad that their Smart Bro Prepaid kits are now cheaper at Php3,800. Previous price was Php4,500. Globe Visibility Prepaid Kit also costs Php4,500.

A new kit will also come with 5 hours of free 3G connection.
